This blog is dedicated to the musical genius who was John Martyn OBE (born Ian Mcgeachy) I'm 14 and am enticed by the works of John Martyn. Some people might pass him off as a folkie singer songwriter, but he was more than that, much more, he was a brilliant and influential guitarist. John Martyn would never fit into a genre because he didn't play by the rules, just tuning your guitar to CFCCGD and strumming a few chords would never get you even close to a decent John Martyn cover.
